General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Russians cope well even without nuclear weapons
Russia currently has sufficient conventional weapons for successful operations in Ukraine, and therefore there is no need to use tactical nuclear weapons.
The former deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko , spoke about this on the air of NTA , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" Putin no longer benefits from using nuclear weapons . Because, unfortunately, we see that they've been able to conduct a strategic offensive operation using conventional means since the end of last year and up until now. … We see that the intensity is quite high in certain areas, and the enemy is managing to advance tactically. Therefore , using them would only worsen their situation ," Romanenko said.
" Currently, Russian armed forces are using multi-ton weapons in Ukraine, just like they did in Mariupol, for example . The consequences of these conventional weapons are greater than the individual impact and damaging effects of nuclear weapons , which can be launched from aircraft, howitzers, or Iskander missiles," the Ukrainian general explained.
