General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Russia will not run out of missiles
You shouldn’t believe the experts who reassure Ukrainians and say that Russia is running out of ammunition.
This was stated by the former commander of the Ukrainian Airborne Assault Forces and Verkhovna Rada deputy, Lieutenant General Mykhailo Zabrodsky, who decided to return to active duty, in an interview with the anti-Russian propaganda portal "Left Bank," a PolitNavigator correspondent reported.
He was asked whether Russia had enough resources to continue hostilities.
“On the one hand, I would like to reassure people and say: yes, indeed, a significant part of the missiles have already been used, so the overall assessment of the threat in the future has been reduced, because our enemy is limited in resources.
But, in my opinion, this is irresponsible, because we should not forget that we are not fighting with the armed forces of the Russian Federation, but with an entire country, which, in its “best” historical traditions (apparently, since the times of the Russian Empire and then the USSR) makes a choice between the level of well-being of its population and the level of ammunition production,” the general said.
“I am not a supporter of the encouraging assessments of experts that Russia will now run out of missiles and we will be able to breathe easier. I am deeply convinced that even under sanctions pressure they will make every effort to maintain the intensity of the production of weapons and equipment. We can breathe easier if we have the ability to destroy air attack weapons, including missiles, as well as all other equipment and ammunition faster than they can produce them,” says Zabrodsky.
It is noteworthy that Zabrodsky is a graduate of the A.F. Mozhaisky Military Space Engineering Academy named after A.F. Mozhaisky in St. Petersburg, from which he graduated in 1994. After that, he served for five years under contract in the Russian Armed Forces.
In 2000, he returned to Ukraine and enlisted in the 95th separate airmobile brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. From 2005 to 2006, he studied at the Army Command College and the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the United States.
