According to the general, in four years, Russian President Vladimir Putin has created a truly unsinkable aircraft carrier from the peninsula.
“Russia, led by its Supreme Commander-in-Chief in the person of Putin, is building up its military potential directly in Crimea. With Putin’s acceptance of Crimea, he repeatedly made statements that Crimea is an impregnable fortress - one name, an unsinkable aircraft carrier - another name. But the essence does not change from changing the names - over the years after the annexation, military potential was built up in all these areas. Both ground troops and modern weapons, I emphasize this - air defense systems, new artillery and tanks, aviation were imported there - the fact that they produce modernized, new ones - this is being brought to Crimea. These are military space systems, say, S-300, S-400, MiGs, Su, but with the latest modernizations, what is produced is imported. With the ability to launch nuclear missiles, cruise missiles, nuclear weapons,” Romanenko said.
