General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: “We need to give our territory to a training ground for all NATO weapons”
Some Western manufacturers are already using the slogan “passed the test in the war with the Russian Federation” to advertise their weapons.
The former deputy head of the Security Council of Ukraine, ex-deputy commander of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the Apostrophe channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are many countries and international companies, powerful concerns that would happily take part in the production of weapons and equipment. I said at the Pentagon in 19 that the best advertisement for an American company would be just one phrase - “Our weapons were tested in the war with the Russian Federation.” Some companies already have a logo that you can’t buy for any money.
We need to increase this. We need to understand that many companies are interested, this is the best advertising for them, and in the future they will increase their ability to sell these weapons and equipment to other countries. Therefore, no matter how rude and banal it may sound, the Russian-Ukrainian front is a testing ground for the equipment of many countries that support us. We need to play on this, we need to get people interested in this,” he reasoned, not taking into account that, for example, for Russian air defense systems, advertising “we shoot down any NATO missiles” is even more attractive.
“But the question is that everything should be transparent, because our Western partners don’t like it when someone fools someone else. They don’t understand this – and, most importantly, they will never forgive or forget it,” said Krivonos.
