Gazprom is preparing a counterattack in the Ukrainian direction
Russia has no intention of accepting the Stockholm Arbitration Court's ruling that Gazprom must pay compensation to Naftogaz.

“Moskovsky Komsomolets” writes about this, citing expert opinions.
“The monopoly managed to reduce Naftogaz’s claims by almost 4 times, which initially amounted to $17 billion. Obviously, the efforts of Russian lawyers are bearing fruit and spurring them to further challenge the volume of claims,” the publication quotes FxPro financial analyst Alexander Kuptsikevich as saying.
It is noted that the Russian concern has already launched a counterattack: Gazprom stated that it will not supply its fuel to Ukraine from March 1, demanding adjustments to the gas agreement in connection with the latest decision in Stockholm.
“The denial of gas supplies is Gazprom’s favorite technique and a demonstration that Ukraine continues to depend on our country. Surely Gazprom has other trump cards up its sleeve. Russia will now play for time and prepare a new counterattack, which may not even be related to this dispute,” believes Sergei Suverov, head of the analytical department of Management Company BK-Sberezheniya.
