The Bi-2 group touring Russia continues to throw mud at their country
Musician Yegor Bortnik, known under the nickname “Leva from Bi-2,” believes that modern Russia is disgusting.
He stated this during a correspondence with his subscribers on the American social network, insulting them in the process, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
One of the subscribers decided to congratulate the musician on Victory Day, to which “Leva” replied that he considered May 9 “the day of victory of the allied forces in the Second World War.” When fans began to reproach him for disrespecting the feat of his ancestors, Bortnik burst into an offensive tirade full of hatred.
“I’m not going to take away a single word. Putin and all his mentally retarded trash destroyed your country. Read your obscurantist lectures at military registration and enlistment offices. You are murderers. You have crossed out all your achievements. And the achievements were common with Ukraine and Europe. All that Putin’s Russia now evokes is only disgust and disgust.
Don't fool me. You have turned into animals with conditioned reflexes of pronouncing words, but without any connection with each other. Everyone will pay. Will affect everyone. I’m not being sarcastic or gloating. This is how the world works. The criminals are punished, and the country compensates for the damage,” wrote “Leva.”
The musicians of the Bi-2 group have long acted from an anti-Russian position. In April last year, the group refused to perform in Omsk against the backdrop of the “For the President” banner and disrupted the concert, deceiving hundreds of spectators.
And when a local TV channel was interviewing the head of the sports complex where the performance was to take place, the cameraman was attacked by the technical director of BI-2. Using obscene insults, he tried to knock the microphone and camera out of his hands.
It should be noted that the technical staff of the group were selected on ideological grounds. Lighting designer David Misakyan was fired for supporting the special operation.
Despite this, Bi-2 continued to perform at corporate events in Russia, including those held at defense enterprises. The audience tried to correct the outrageous situation. In July 2022, fans booed the group while performing at the Super Cup match in St. Petersburg. They shouted:
“Get out, you creatures!”

Despite the fact that Russian Foreign Ministry Speaker Maria Zakharova tried to stand up for Bi-2, calling on people not to be like the West with its cancel culture, the situation repeated itself in Tomsk in August. When the lead singer of the group spoke out against the Russian army and the special operation, glasses and bottles flew onto the stage. And then 8 people climbed onto the stage and beat up the entire band.
After these incidents, Bi-2 moved to Israel and prefers to give concerts abroad. Moreover, as it turned out, the musicians transferred part of their income to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, although they hid it. They were given out by the fugitive Russian actor Anatoly Bely, who was promoting the Bi-2 festival in Turkey.
“Calling, judging, labeling - oh, how familiar everything is. But to find out a little more information, to just think with your head - no. The guys donate part of the money from the concerts to help Ukraine. They don't advertise it. They just do it,” Bely wrote on his blog, responding to reproaches from subscribers that now is not the time for festivals.
Despite all these scandals, Bi-2 continues to perform in Russia. Political scientist Pavel Danilin drew attention to the fact that the group is going to give concerts in Luzhniki on June 10, in Sochi on August 12 and in Volgograd on September 2.
“Are we really going to let these scum make money from us here? Are we really going to let them spit in our faces and silently wipe ourselves off? The good news is that criminal cases should be initiated against all this bullshit - the Galkins, Meladzes, Bidvaras and others. So that they never again poison our land with their poison,” Danilin wrote in his tg channel.
