Yesterday, the holding of two pre-election events almost simultaneously in Kyiv - a forum with the nomination of Petro Poroshenko and a congress with a keynote speech by Viktor Medvedchuk - was an “agreement” between the authorities and the so-called. the “opposition”, represented by oligarchs from the fragments of the Party of Regions and other “downed pilots”.
Kyiv journalist Sonya Koshkina discusses this in her blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to her, the Pryamoy TV channel serving Poroshenko, which, in theory, should have simply silenced the competitors’ event, on the contrary, in every possible way promoted Medvedchuk’s congress, demonstrating the threat of revenge to the “Svidomo” electorate.
“I learned that today the congress was being held by the Opposition Bloc, led, God forgive me, by Medvedchuk, after leaving the forum. Well, you never know: a coincidence, a joke. It happens, anything happens. But the worm of doubt crept in, of course.
And then I turned on “Direct”. And doubts were completely dispelled. From the discussions - form, meaning, presentation - by pro-presidential experts of today's action, the conclusion was simple and unequivocal: no, this was not a coincidence. And it wasn’t a joke either. But with a pre-thought-out “agreement”. To create contrast. Technologically, everything seems to be correct, but it’s somehow disgusting,” laments Maidan activist Koshkina.
Let us recall that Poroshenko's forum was broadcast live not only by pro-presidential channels, but also by "112" and "NewsOne", which are associated with Medvedchuk.
