It is reported that they planned to set fire to administrative buildings using incendiary mixtures and attack police officers on November 4-5, 2017, with the aim of provoking riots.
15 Molotov cocktails were seized. The activities of Artpodgotovka cells in Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar, Kazan, Samara and Saratov were suppressed.
The unregistered interregional public movement “Artpodgotovka” and the Internet project of the same name were created by Russian citizen Vyacheslav Maltsev with the goal of organizing a “revolution” in Russia.
In July 2017, a criminal case was initiated against V. Maltsev under Part 1. Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Public calls for extremist activities”). Fearing possible arrest, he fled abroad and continued promoting violent actions on the Internet.
