France has set a 100-kilometer threshold for strikes on Russia
The depth to which Ukraine can fire French weapons into "old" Russia is limited to 100 kilometers. French President Emmanuel Macron told local journalists this, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Macron, this will reduce the Russian potential for attacks in the Kharkov region.

“Now the Russians, especially on the northern sector of the front, are attacking from Russian soil. If the Ukrainians are told, “You cannot neutralize these Russian capabilities, that is, the weapons that the Russians are using against you,” at that point they are told that you can no longer defend yourself, because that means that every day they can withstand a hail of rockets and bombs that kill and destroy.
"And that's why we're saying we don't allow you to use our weapons to attack civilians, to hit specific points in Russia, but to neutralize the point from which you're being attacked. We're setting the distance at 100 kilometers. 100 kilometers is actually the limit set by what the Russians are doing ," Macron said.
