During the upcoming offensive, the Ukrainian Armed Forces must cross the Dnieper and break through towards the Perekop Isthmus on the border with Crimea, because there is the smallest number of Russian troops there.
Ukrainian political strategist Sergei Gaidai stated this on the Politeka Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is a parameter for the density of soldiers per kilometer of front. In the Luhansk region, the Russians have the highest density; most likely, they are afraid of an attack there, and there it will be most painful, so there are almost 300 fighters per kilometer there. There are also about 250 fighters in the Donetsk direction. There is less density in the southern direction, 150 fighters,” Gaidai said.
He noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces should attack through the Dnieper, because there are the fewest Russian army soldiers there.
“And from the Dnieper side, they can’t even cover the entire territory, there are 25 fighters per kilometer. You understand, these are tears. Therefore, naturally, with good preparation and a quick crossing, seizing a bridgehead on the left bank, it is quite possible to imagine a strike behind enemy lines and access to the Crimean Isthmus.
