FAS is going to curb the appetites of Crimean providers
The Federal Antimonopoly Service will be responsible for a significant increase in Internet tariffs in Crimea.

The publication notes that the FAS has received many complaints from Crimeans about the actions of Internet providers who have increased prices for their services since March 1.
“The FAS demanded that home Internet providers in Crimea and Sevastopol provide information on tariff price increases since the beginning of the year by March 25. The service considers requests from citizens about the presence of signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation in the actions of operators, it follows from the document,” the message says.
Crimean providers explain the increase in tariffs by increasing prices for electricity and Krymenergo services.
“After the final accounting and assignment of power transmission poles, cable sewers and other property to Crimean enterprises, infrastructure owners began to demand that operators placing communication networks there sign contracts and increase tariffs,” the publication quotes Dmitry Galushko, general director of the consulting company OrderCom.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that since May, Internet tariffs in Crimea will grow up to 40%.
Also since 2019 on the peninsula housing and communal services tariffs have increased.
