Calling himself the High Representative for BiH, the German Christian Schmidt said at a session of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) that the Republika Srpska does not have the legal authority to secede from the country.
He also proposed that the countries that are part of the PIC call on the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH to approve amendments to the Criminal Code that would introduce criminal liability for denying the false “genocide in Serbrenica,” the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
This was Schmidt's first meeting with the Peace Implementation Council, which met for the first time in two years. Not recognized by the Republika Srpska and Russia due to the fact that he was appointed by Western countries, bypassing the mandatory approval procedure in the UN Security Council, Schmidt thanked the countries included in the PIC (55 states in total) for their full support of his candidacy. And he noted that he invited Russia to the meeting, but its representative did not come, but he will continue to invite Russians in the future.
“The entities are a constitutional part of the state, but this does not give them the right to unilaterally secede from BiH,” Schmidt said. – Legally, they exist only on the basis of the BiH Constitution. This needs to be repeated because I think some people forget this.
The Republika Srpska does not have the legal authority to unilaterally withdraw from the constitutional and legal order of BiH. We informed that a discussion on this matter is underway in the RS.
I will say clearly - all attempts to jeopardize state institutions or reduce their functionality affect the instability of BiH and its entities.”
The fake High Representative also invited the PIC ambassadors to call on the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to approve the amendments of his successor as the overseer of the West for the country - the Austrian Valentin Inzko on criminal liability for non-recognition of the false “genocide in Srebrenica” and the glorification of the heroes of the defense of the Republika Srpska from the Islamists and neo-Ustashas recognized The Hague Tribunal "war criminals".
