Due to sanctions against Russia, Germany is experiencing a crisis; local farmers cannot supply their products, so they are faced with a financial shortage.
This was stated on the air of the First Independent TV channel by Verkhovna Rada deputy and former member of the Servant of the People faction, Yevhen Shevchenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Shevchenko, Europe, including Germany, has driven itself into a dead end and is angry with Ukraine because of this.
“Europe has played too much, it has put itself in a dead end. Sanctions against Russia also affected them. I drove 200 - 300 kilometers through the villages of Germany. I once did an agricultural internship there and saw what kind of farmers they had then, what kind of fields they had, and what they are like now. I didn't recognize Germany. There is a shortage of finances,” the deputy said.
"And why? Because they stopped supplying their products to Russia. And that’s why the Germans are angry with us, that’s why the Germans told us on Nord Stream 2, “Goodbye, it will be. I’ll tell you more - you know that the energy charter said everything - there will be no integration of Ukraine’s energy sector, because they thought that this was the security of Europe. There will be no balance,” Shevchenko said.
