“Another victory over Google. The Moscow City Court recognized that ordinary people - not just companies - can also sue an American IT giant in Russia if it violates their legitimate interests. A few months ago, regular viewers of Constantinople filed lawsuits against Google for blocking our YouTube channel (where we had more than a million subscribers).

The first court decision was that such disputes are not considered in Russia. They say, according to Google’s terms, all claims are filed only in American courts. But thanks to amendments to the Russian Constitution adopted last summer, we were able to change the decision. Our legislation now prevails on the territory of our country. Russia will force Google to implement it. Carthage must be destroyed!” Malofeev wrote.

On April 13, YouTube interrupted the broadcast of “Tsargrad”, dedicated to a survey of candidates for deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. They were asked questions: “Whose Crimea?”, “Is there a God?”, “Did you vote for amendments to the Constitution?”, “What country do your children study in?”, “Are you for gay pride parades?” The TV channel explained that it pursued the goal of identifying true patriots.
