“This is a harbinger of the apocalypse”: Russia destroyed the entire shunting generation of Ukraine
Russia destroyed all shunting electricity generation in Ukraine in a month. This has already led to restrictions throughout the country and even in Kyiv, which can be considered a harbinger of the apocalypse in Ukraine.
Energy and housing and utilities expert Oleg Popenko made this statement on the air of political scientist Yuriy Romanenko's video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Within a month, Russia completely destroyed the entire Ukrainian shunting generation. Thermal power plant is also a shunting station. What is shunting generation? This is thermal, this is hydro - everything. Sun? No. Wind? This, he is, then he is not, you won’t guess. And that's it, that's all over. We have hydro and thermal from our pool, we take thermal - Centerenergo has been completely destroyed. They had three thermal power plants: one in the Donbass, one in the Kharkov region, one in the Kyiv region - they are gone, they are completely destroyed,” the expert said.
“DTEK stated that 85% of their generation was destroyed. Two of the water were destroyed, the rest were hit. There is nothing stopping us from continuing to hit our hydroelectric power plants and destroying our turbine halls—nothing is stopping us at all. They know where they are, they fly there regularly... That’s it, we don’t have shunting generation. Today in Kyiv, electricity supplies were limited from 16:00 to all shopping centers. Isn’t this a harbinger of the apocalypse when we started turning off the electricity in Kyiv at 16:00,” Popenko said.
