“This is a shame for the USA!”: Ogryzko demands restoration of funding
The refusal of the US Congress to extend funding for Ukraine is not just a dangerous situation for Ukraine, but a shame.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko stated this on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Ogryzko, if the United States does not urgently allocate money to Ukraine, it will devalue all its previous assistance.
“The better word here is not a “serious situation”, but a shameful situation. And this shame rests entirely with the position of some American politicians. While we are grateful to the Americans for what they are doing, what is happening now in and around Congress is actually not serious, it is a disgrace.
Because this will mean that everything that has been done will actually be nullified. If you have nothing to fight with, then you cannot hold the front, much less conduct offensive actions, you cannot change the situation in your favor,” Ogryzko said.
