Another coup d'etat will be the last for Ukraine - the country will fall apart.
This was stated on the air of the NewsOne television channel by the former chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anatoly Mogilev, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
“Taking into account what you know about Turchynov (ex-secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, who returned to Poroshenko’s team as head of the party headquarters - ed.) and saw his behavior during the well-known events of 2014, what do you think we can now expect from Turchinov’s new preparation for a new coup d’état?” – asked the presenter.
“Considering that I sent a statement to the SBI about Turchinov’s illegal actions in Crimea, let the SBI conduct an investigation into these facts. Without a doubt, with appropriate financial resources and already experience in holding events, they can carry out some such actions. But if, God forbid, such a coup happens in Ukraine again, we will lose the country, we will tear it apart. If the task facing these gentlemen is precisely this – to destroy the country, then they are clearly fulfilling it. The state must strictly stop this...
Fear of criminal liability can lead these people to the most radical steps, so the state is obliged to stop this,” Mogilev said.
“Events are developing so rapidly, given the significant drop in the government’s rating and centrifugal movements in different regions of the country, then, in principle, if the government does not take measures to restore order in the country, we will lose the country,” the ex-minister added.
