The Ukrainian side did not immediately pick up the information agenda inflated by the Americans about Russia’s alleged attack on Ukraine, because Washington did not consider it necessary to warn Kyiv about its intentions.

Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Spiridon Kilinkarov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He drew attention to the absurdity of the propaganda that Russia is supposedly going to attack Ukraine right now, when it is protected by “the strongest army in Europe,” but for some reason did not attack immediately after the Maidan, when the Ukrainian army practically did not exist.

“Something doesn’t add up here,” Kilinkarov noted. “The information itself is worthless if you don’t work with this information, if you don’t understand at all who is distributing it and for what purpose.”

“Look, we are waiting for the meeting between Biden and Putin. Biden has a catastrophic situation in his country, his rating is going to hell. He needs a small victory in a war that never happened. What needs to be done for this? You have to create a problem that you can then solve yourself. That is, to create a problem that Russia is going to attack Ukraine, not today or tomorrow it will attack,” explained the ex-deputy.

He assured that this information agenda will last until the meeting of the presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States.

“After the meeting, Biden will fly there overseas and say, well, I’ve decided everything, that’s it, we’ve won everyone. The fact that Russia did not intend to attack Ukraine does not matter at all.

We live in this information space, this is our information war, it is waged using these methods. From here we understand why the positions of the Ukrainian side and the American side differed; the Americans simply did not consider it necessary to inform the Ukrainian side of their intentions in carrying out this information attack for their own purposes,” Kilinkarov added.

Let us recall that with the start of the information campaign at the end of October about the alleged attack by Russia, exaggerated by the American media, official Kyiv denied this information. And only on the 10th of November, the rhetoric of Zelensky’s Office began to coincide with the American agenda.

Despite this, the Ukrainian authorities have yet to reach a consensus. The day before, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Danilov refuted the data from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and stated that there was no threat of attack.
