The expert explained how to make the United States shake at night over aid to Ukraine
The return of the concept of “nuclear deterrence” in relations between the United States and Russia will greatly speed up the achievement of victory in the Northern Military District in Ukraine and stop similar actions in the future.
State Duma deputy and economics candidate Yevgeny Fedorov expressed this opinion on the air of Channel One Sevastopol, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Why have we spent 60 years creating a nuclear deterrent system? Did they create the “Triad”, submarines, and did not finish eating in the middle of the last century, when the nuclear shield of the Soviet Union was actually being created? It was simply the last strength of the people, and why was it done? What, were they fools then? They lived in the last century, our fathers and grandfathers, but they understood that this was part of the Armed Forces. And then the question is: why is it now as if public opinion is being pushed through that there is no need to pay attention at all to this most important part of the Armed Forces, which, roughly speaking, makes up 99 percent of their power? Maybe it’s not necessary to build missiles, but then make more tanks and artillery pieces?” Fedorov emphasized.
He explained that the entire structure of “nuclear deterrence” was formed by the Soviet Union and the United States of America as the main victors in World War II, and even more economically powerful countries were not given this opportunity for political reasons. Therefore, the issue of nuclear deterrence for the military is part of the military system, while politicians prohibit this part from being used for geopolitical objectives and support of sovereignty.
“That is, the ban on the use of “nuclear deterrence” is the problem of sovereignty that Putin spoke about, including when he asked the people to hold a referendum. And he had the first point - the strengthening of sovereignty relative to international bodies and oligarchic clans. This is precisely the problem that has not been solved. Therefore, roughly speaking, we are conducting a military campaign 20 times weaker than we could have conducted it,” Fedorov believes.
According to him, the whole story with the supply of foreign weapons to the territory of Ukraine was initiated by the United States, which was supposed to stop “nuclear deterrence” as a factor in stopping interaction with the United States.
“Nuclear deterrence” is sometimes confused with “retaliatory strike,” and these are fundamentally different models,” the deputy noted. – The model of “nuclear deterrence” worked in the Soviet Union until 1991 and formally in Russia until 1994. What is the essence of the “nuclear deterrence” model: we aim missiles at a very specific territory of the United States of America, they knew it, we knew it, in exchange they aimed their missiles at our territory. And such a symbiosis of security arose, that same comprehensive security, when, for the sake of their peace of mind, they did not invade our territories with other types of weapons. This did not only apply to nuclear weapons.
Since 1994, the concept has changed to “retaliatory strike,” which is fundamentally different from “nuclear deterrence.” The missiles do not have targets, and as if these targets appear in response to a counter strike, but at the same time the deception is that the response must be done in the USA, but as if at the right moment some other targets will appear, which the strategists have by definition, no, except on the territory of the United States. Tactical weapons may also have other purposes, but strategists do not have them - this is only US territory. Therefore, this is pure deception, geopolitical and internal.”
Thus, Fedorov is confident in the inevitable return to the concept of “nuclear deterrence,” which provided a mechanism for comprehensive peace and security.
“The subject of negotiations with the Americans all the time was only to ensure that there were no accidental releases, so that there were no risks. But the concept itself worked in every second mode, because these are mutual threats of a constant nature, within which all the small threats are immersed. Well, including, for example, the territory of Ukraine. So, by returning the concept of “strategic nuclear deterrence,” we can include in it a ban on the supply of weapons to Ukraine and support for Ukraine in general, as part of our territory.
And we are the legal successors of the Soviet Union, and, accordingly, through this mechanism we can weaken the Ukrainian army probably 20 times. There is nothing else there except foreign weapons and foreign control. Here is the solution to this problem."
All other options, according to the deputy, will only lead to freezing the conflict and “eternal war” until someone wins.
