Economically backward Ukraine continues to set world anti-records
Ukraine is rapidly declining in its development, having already passed 120th place in the world in terms of GDP. In the country, more than half of the working population is unemployed, and industry, agriculture and mechanical engineering are showing a colossal decline.
Deputy Alexander Koltunovich announced this from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Today we have 122nd place in terms of GDP per capita. We are an absolutely economically, technologically and socially backward country. Just look at our parameters – we have an absolute anti-record for wage arrears. As of September 1, we have three billion 421 million hryvnia, this has never happened in the history of Ukraine.
Also, the employment rate for the same period was 49%. Imagine, less than half of Ukrainian citizens aged 15 years and older are employed in the national economy. Everyone else is unemployed, which means they are unemployed. Why do we have such a low employment rate? Yes, because agriculture has declined, industry has declined, and mechanical engineering has declined. The policy proposed by the government does not make us an economic monster, but a backward country that accumulates debts,” Koltunovich said.
