Ilya Kiva, advisor to the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, stated this in a comment to the Kyiv magazine "Novoye Vremya," assessing Sedyuk's actions, which Interior Minister Arsen Avakov threatened with a five-year prison sentence . Kiva is confident that Sedyuk should be jailed.
"Yes. Because it’s an insult to our country. When guys give their lives for this land, he disgraces this land. I still hope that even if the court imposes a mild punishment, then the hand of the people will reach him. There is no place for such nastiness and meanness on our Ukrainian soil. I say this as a citizen who defends his homeland. After all, every day guys die for this land, and this cheap b...d disgraces our flag and what we stand for with our blood and lives,” Kiva threatened.
