The Donetsk politician addressed the Ukrainians: “Why are you fighting and dying?”
Residents of Ukraine must understand that their real enemy is the West, which has driven Ukraine into huge debts.
Alexey Muratov, one of the leaders of the Donetsk Republic movement and the United Russia party in the DPR, stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Today, the people of Ukraine need to understand what they're fighting for. After all, their country doesn't have state sovereignty. The country is in debt, and even their grandchildren won't be able to pay it off. These assets don't belong to the citizens of Ukraine today."
They are owned by transnational corporations and investment funds. “What are they fighting for, and with whom?” Muratov summed up rhetorically.
