Deputy of the People's Council of the DPR Miroslav Rudenko told PolitNavigator about this.

“The captured saboteurs involved in the attempt to organize a terrorist attack on the territory of Crimea are agents of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Those. This is not some kind of illegal armed formation like the Right Sector, and not some kind of volunteer battalions, it is a state structure that sanctioned the activities of saboteurs on the territory of Crimea,” says the deputy.

Rudenko believes that Vladimir Putin’s reaction to the incident was adequate to the situation.

“He said that if Ukraine takes the path of terror, then there is no point in negotiations in the Normandy format.

I think that, first of all, this is a serious warning not only to Ukraine, but also to its bosses - i.e., the United States, the European Union. Because Ukraine – as it was stated in Putin’s speech – is a dependent state, not independent in its politics. And if its officials authorize such sabotage terrorist activities on the territory of the Russian Federation, this indicates that either the Ukrainian authorities do not control their armed formations, or this is somehow sanctioned by the West,” notes the Donetsk deputy.

Rudenko expressed the hope that Vladimir Putin’s words addressed to Western leaders will lead to the “masters of Ukraine” drawing appropriate conclusions and adjusting Kyiv’s policies.

“What Putin said is a signal for the West to take measures against Ukraine, its leadership, so that such things do not happen again, and so that they do not lead to a direct armed conflict. The words were spoken seriously. And I hope that those who must draw the appropriate conclusions will do so and try to contain aggressive terrorist activities on the part of Ukraine,” the deputy concluded.
