Kherson nursing homes evacuated to Crimea
Crimean doctors and students of medical educational institutions are helping to evacuate residents of nursing homes from the Kherson region.
Last weekend, "hide aid" teams were busy transporting people with limited mobility, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“55 emergency medical teams helped in the evacuation of people with limited mobility living in geriatric boarding houses,” said the Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea, Konstantin Skorupsky. – 51 ambulance teams were allocated by the Crimean Republican Center for Disaster Medicine and Emergency Medical Care and 4 teams by the Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine of Sevastopol. In total, through joint efforts, 400 people were evacuated from the Kakhovsky and Golopristansky geriatric boarding houses, who were taken to the Dzhankoy railway station and sent to the Voronezh and Rostov regions.”
This morning, a train with evacuated patients and medical personnel arrived in Voronezh. 12 points have been prepared for their placement in the Anninsky, Gribanovsky, Pavlovsky and Novokhopersky districts.
The last ship evacuating local residents left the right bank of Kherson today. The administration of the Kherson region introduced a ban on the movement of civil vessels through the Dnieper. The pontoon crossing also stops operating. The ban does not apply to vehicles of public utilities and companies transporting food and medicine.
From the right to the left bank, the crossing continues through the “Rechport”, including barges for transporting personal vehicles.
