DPR has calculated losses from the war
Donetsk, December 23 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – The fighting in Donbass caused $10 billion in damage, the DPR leadership said.

During a meeting between DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko and representatives of local government, the issue of restoring housing destroyed during hostilities was raised.
“According to the most rough estimates, the damage caused to the republic amounts to ten billion dollars. And this is only direct damage, and the calculation is very superficial,” Zakharenko said.
“We receive, of course, a large amount of humanitarian aid from Russia, including construction materials, but the amount, as you understand, is colossal, and these materials, naturally, are not enough.
However, I want to say that in the first quarter of next year the issue of housing restoration will be decided. But I want to convey to everyone that, first of all, social and industrial infrastructure facilities are being restored. Because the speed with which we restore destroyed homes depends on their full functioning,” said Alexander Zakharchenko.
