DPR and “Lugansk Republic” will create a single parliament (PHOTO)
Donetsk, June 24 (Navigator, Mikhail Shalyapin) – In the building of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, a meeting was held between the leader of the “People’s Front” movement Oleg Tsarev and the DPR parliament deputies and the leaders of the “Donetsk Republic”.

During the meeting, the issue of the actual merger of the two republics into a state association on a federal basis was discussed. And the first step on this path was to unite the parliaments of the DPR and LPR into a single legislative body.
The meeting took place behind closed doors, after which Oleg Tsarev gave an impromptu press conference to the journalists present.
In particular, he said: “There is a war in Donbass, it has brought a lot of grief to its residents. We simply have no other way to stop it. Yesterday I voiced the consolidated position of the Popular Front movement - the conditions under which we are ready to sit down at the negotiating table. This is the withdrawal from the territory of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics of the National Guard, the illegal armed formations of Kolomoisky and the Right Sector, units of the Ukrainian army guilty of killing civilians,” Tsarev said.
“These are payments by Kiev of compensation to the families of dead civilians, compensation to residents of the republics for destroyed housing, compensation to municipalities for damage caused to public infrastructure by Ukrainian troops, compensation to the owners of destroyed industrial facilities,” he continued. – This is the approval by the President of Ukraine and the parliaments of the republics of a draft constitutional act defining the status of the people's republics. And an amnesty for all members of the militia and all political prisoners in Ukrainian prisons,” the leader of the Popular Front emphasized.
When asked to comment on the appeal of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federation Council with a request to cancel the permission given to him to use armed forces on the territory of Ukraine, Oleg Tsarev replied that such a step by the president was most likely designed to reduce the degree of tension in the current situation, and speaks of a peace-loving Russia's approach to this issue.
