Leading analyst of the National Energy Security Fund Igor Yushkov stated this on the air of the internet channel "Soloviev Live", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
According to the expert, due to the fact that European consumers will consume gas from storage facilities in the winter of 2021-22, they will have to fill these reservoirs in the summer, which will also spur demand.
“In Europe, these problems will continue until the end of the heating season. Therefore, gas prices in Europe will most likely be high not only until the end of the heating season, but then they will exit the heating season with low volumes of gas in underground storage, and all summer it will be necessary to accumulate gas for the next season, for the next winter.
Therefore, I think the demand for gas in Europe will be quite high throughout 22nd year. This is, of course, good for us,” Yushkov said.
