Children in Kyiv-controlled Donbass did not suspect the existence of the Crimean Bridge
Schoolchildren in the liberated areas of the DPR did not know that the Crimean Bridge existed.
Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about this today at a meeting with schoolchildren in Kaliningrad, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Yesterday I spoke with the Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov. He was in Donetsk and told me, excuse me, I opened my mouth, that the schoolchildren didn’t even know that the Crimean Bridge existed, they thought it was a fake. They did not know that Ukraine and Russia were part of a single state - the USSR. That’s how everyone taught them,” Putin said.
He believes that adults in Ukraine are just as poorly educated as children.
“Not only children, many adults, apparently, do not know that Ukraine never had its own statehood before the formation of the USSR. The Communist Party, which was then in power, formed the union republics, including Ukraine, transferring to it a significant part of the historical Russian territories, including the Donbass. Although the residents of Donbass did not want this, there is evidence and documents,” Putin noted.
