Member of the Verkhovna Rada: Let's return Donbass - and subject everyone to a Svidomo test
The Verkhovna Rada proposes to adopt a law obliging residents of Donbass to take exams on knowledge of the Ukrainian language, nationalist interpretation of history and “patriotism” in the event of the return of uncontrolled territories to Kyiv.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Borislav Bereza stated this on the air of the Black Mirror talk show.

“Do we need to reintegrate this area? Yes. Do people need to be reintegrated? Certainly. So will the law of confirmation of citizenship really interfere with us? Pass the language, pass the history of Ukraine, pass the whole set, the package that is necessary. And only after this a person receives the right to vote. And this is the most important thing that should interest Ukraine at the moment,” Bereza said.
