The security forces of Ukraine do not ensure the rule of law, but are privatized by various ruling clans.
Ex-militant of the Azov National Battalion, Verkhovna Rada deputy Igor Lutsenko, said this on the air of the talk show “People Against,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I want to admit that in recent years the level of legality and law-abidingness of everything that happens in our country has radically decreased. Today, our law enforcement agencies are privatized between different rulers,” Lutsenko said.
“This is when Mr. Avakov owns the police, Poroshenko owns the SBU, and so on. And when we talk about the law, indeed, perhaps the legislation has become better in some ways, but citizens have actually become less able to seek the truth by referring to this legislation. Our state, in fact, was privatized by several clans,” the deputy added.
