State Duma Deputy: Oil and gas golden rain over Russia will allow the revival of 25 million hectares of agricultural land
Russia must put at least 25 million hectares of land under cultivation.
Deputy Vladimir Kashin stated this today from the rostrum of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PoitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Today we have reduced sown areas by 37 million hectares by 1990. We are obliged to put at least 25 million hectares into circulation. We have everything for this. Golden showers are falling over Russia today, based on the cost of oil and gas.
The state needs to feel this unique opportunity to return the priceless gift of our Russia in the form of Mother Earth.
Put it into circulation - it will give bread, meat, and milk. She will be the protector of our country, save Russia, boost its economy and solve the issue of food security. We currently sell $35 billion worth of food, but we can sell twice as much,” Kashin concluded.
Earlier, the State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted a resolution obliging the government to introduce 2030 million hectares of virgin fallow land taken out of production by 13.
