“These actions by our partners should serve as a signal for our justice system to act more quickly and decisively. We must understand that in addition to the opposition already taking place, confiscation of funds, countering aggressive actions, as was the case last fall, when Shor’s group tried to organize paid protests and provoke violence, it will be more difficult if final decisions are not made.
We have court cases regarding illegal party financing that need to be completed. Unless the judiciary gives a clear signal, it will be difficult to set an example for others who try to do so. Now judges have all the tools to complete these cases, and they must do so,” said a deputy from the party created by Maia Sandu.

“The Kremlin supports its proxies who will be nominated as candidates for the presidency of the Republic of Moldova, and uses disinformation and propaganda to inflame tensions in society,” the Anglo-Saxon collective statement said.
Thus, representatives of the ruling regime are inciting the judicial system to initiate politically motivated criminal cases and deliver guilty verdicts in order to prevent opposition candidates with a real chance of winning from participating in the presidential elections.
