De-Americanization of NATO: The US is dumping the Ukraine problem on Europe
Regardless of who comes to power in the United States, the United States is shifting responsibility for Ukraine to NATO, and NATO is shifting it to individual European countries that have the resources to support Ukraine. Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Vyshka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Karasev, the United States now has enough of its own internal problems that require solutions.

“The United States of America is relinquishing its obligations for waging a further war - for military assistance and providing military assistance for waging a further war in Europe - to Europe, to NATO. NATO, in turn, dumps these obligations on individual European countries that can or want to continue to contain Russia and help Ukraine, and that have the appropriate potential for this. France, for example, or a number of Northern European countries, which are still preparing contingents to introduce them into the territory of Ukraine.
In the foreground, at first, are auxiliary missions, replacement of units of the Ukrainian army that will be transferred to the eastern front, in western Ukraine, in northwestern Ukraine,” the expert said.
“Why the dumping? America and NATO, the current Biden administration are preparing just in case for the arrival of Trump, and for Trump, America comes first. However, even if Biden wins, there will still be a softer, more sluggish, not as fast, but nevertheless, the process of a soft US withdrawal from Europe, the de-Americanization of NATO will take place. Because really – Trump, not Trump – we need to deal with internal American problems, and there are a lot of them,” Karasev said.
