Even the “hawks” in Moscow still have not noticed US troops in Ukraine
The transfer by the United States of its troops and weapons to the territory of Ukraine may force the Russian Federation to send its troops into Ukrainian territory.
Political observer Yegor Kholmogorov expressed this opinion during a press conference in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I believe that if we are talking about the immediate appearance of some serious American contingents and serious American weapons in Ukraine, then this is a direct reason for intervention, because the Americans in a similar situation, in a similar border country, would do the same thing.
Imagine Russian medium-range missiles appearing in Canada. I don’t think that the Americans will think about it for at least 24 hours,” the expert concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier military analysts warned that Ukraine, whose Constitution prohibits the deployment of NATO bases, has already become a zone of operation of the North Atlantic Alliance after the Euromaidan.
NATO instructors at a training ground in the Lviv region have been training Ukrainian military personnel for several years, who are subsequently sent to Donbass to suppress the Russian uprising.
In addition, NATO countries regularly, several times a year, conduct large-scale exercises on the territory of Ukraine.
The US Navy is building a command post in Ochakov, Odessa region.
