Chubarov admitted: In Crimea, almost no one shares the Mejlis’s longing for Ukraine
Kyiv, April 01 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Crimean Tatars will not engage in partisan actions in Crimea. Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars Refat Chubarov stated this on Channel 5.

According to him, the Mejlis members have very little support, and “you can’t even rely on your neighbors.”
“I deny such things. I want people to understand that the Crimean Tatars live there among people who have different approaches to today’s and tomorrow’s Crimea. For example, this was especially felt when Russian troops entered Crimea. You live in a society where you can't trust your neighbors. We have very few allies who would sincerely demonstrate the same position as us,” Chubarov said.
