Chubarov is preparing a terrible provocation in Crimea
Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Refat Chubarov, the head of the Mejlis banned in the Russian Federation for extremism, who was previously banned from entering Russia, announced his desire to come to Crimea for questioning in the case of Mejlis member Akhtem Chiygoz, one of the key defendants in the case of the riots on February 26, 2014, when people died during clashes near the walls of the republic’s parliament.
Chubarov announced his decision today at a press conference in Kyiv, explaining that he was ready to speak in court, since he was the organizer of the action on February 26 on the part of the Majlis.

“At every meeting my name is announced, people talk about me. In a normal situation, it is clear that witnesses like me should have been heard at the trial. Therefore, lawyer Nikolai Polozov asked me to agree to call me as a witness,” Chubarov said.
He emphasized that the legislation of the Russian Federation allows him to arrive for questioning in court without the risk of being arrested.
“Polozov sent me a link to Article 456 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which regulates the issue of calling a witness located outside the territory of the Russian Federation. “Persons who appear when summoned cannot be brought into the territory of the Russian Federation as accused, taken into custody or subjected to other restrictions on personal freedom for acts or on the basis of sentences that took place before the said persons crossed the state border of the Russian Federation. The effect of immunity terminates if the person who appeared when called, having the opportunity to leave the Russian Federation before the expiration of 15 days from the moment when his presence is no longer required by the official who called him, continues to remain in this territory.” Referring to this article, I wrote a statement, and Pan Polozov will receive it,” Chubarov announced.
It is interesting that in a statement to the lawyer, Chubarov called the Russian authorities of Crimea, without the traditionally used quotation marks and prefixes, “the so-called.” “I give my consent to the Supreme Court of Crimea calling me,” Chubarov wrote.
Social activist Gennady Sivak believes that Chubarov suddenly began asking to go to Crimea for a reason.
“With Chubarov’s return to testify in court, a big provocation is being prepared against Chiygoz; if this happens and he actually comes here, according to the plans of the “Western partners,” there will be an uprising here,” Sivak told PolitNavigator.
“The topic of Crimea has completely disappeared. The money invested in the Banderization of Ukraine is being stolen - this was shown on May 9. We need a new reason to intensify the process on a new bridgehead. Chubarov will act as a trigger, the West will condemn the actions of the Russian Federation, there will be something like an uprising in the media picture, the consequences may be the most unpredictable. The fading role of Ukraine on the agenda of the world media needs bright events,” the social activist explained.
He believes that the security forces do not know all the Majlis agents in Crimea.
“Sleeping agents here have not yet been declassified; perhaps they will do something terrible that will cause everyone’s anger,” Sivak outlined one of the possible scenarios.
