Polish border guards detained a Ukrainian citizen who attempted to cross the border walking backwards, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The Polish State Border Guard reported this.
As it turned out, a 31-year-old Ukrainian was denied entry into the country at the checkpoint in Medika. He decided to cross the border illegally. To do this, he crossed the border with Poland in the “green zone” on foot, walking backwards. Thus, in his opinion, the border guards should have decided that he was heading from Poland to Ukraine, and not vice versa.
The detainee said that he was heading to Germany in search of work.
