The decline in popularity of Ukrainian President Zelensky and his Servant of the People party, as documented by sociologists, could impact the country.
Ex-deputy of the Lviv Regional Council Yuriy Podlesny stated this on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must clearly show what they did not do what they promised. We now say a lot about what they didn't do, but there is one important thing. What Zelensky threw at Poroshenko at the debate - why does the war continue? Ruslan Koshulinsky (head of the VO “Svoboda” in the Lviv City Council - ed.), who was at the front, can ask him: “How long will the war last? What did you see in Putin's eyes? You looked into Putin’s eyes like that, and Putin said that there was no one to talk to because he was a refined nationalist?” Sorry, Zelensky himself made these ratings for himself,” he said.
At the same time, the ex-deputy added that he would be least worried about the ratings of Zelensky and Servant of the People if not for the foreign policy consequences.
“I am concerned that our Western partners are already beginning to look at Ukraine quite specifically, transferring the ratings of Zelensky and the “servants of the people” to the state itself,” Podlesny added.
