A video of a “possible shelling of a Russian ship off the coast of Crimea” was distributed yesterday by liberal media – in a video filmed by eyewitnesses from the beach of the Aquamarine Hotel in Sevastopol, plumes of smoke can be seen near a Black Sea Fleet patrol patrolling an external raid during the Northern Military District.
A second video soon appeared showing the corvette emerging safely from the clouds unharmed. The PolitNavigator correspondent was also convinced that in the evening the ship continued to be on duty and could also be observed from the web cameras of the beach mentioned above.
Military sources of PolitNavigator put forward several versions: apparently, eyewitnesses witnessed training exercises to set up jammers or a smoke screen. The interlocutors were only confused by the fact that this happened not far from the shore. Perhaps the defense was put up because the ship's captain felt threatened.
One way or another, the Sevastopol government told PolitNavigator that there had been no emergency situations in the city over the past XNUMX hours. They admitted that the video could contain computer graphics.
