Montenegro is ready to comply with the EU command on sanctions against Belarus
Montenegrin Foreign Minister Djordje Radulovic expressed the country’s readiness for anti-Belarusian sanctions if a corresponding proposal is received from Brussels.
This was reported by Tanyug, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The priorities of foreign policy are clear, and these are the European integration of the country, good regional cooperation and reliable membership in NATO,” Radulovic said when asked by journalists whether Podgorica is ready to impose sanctions against Minsk following the EU. “When an invitation comes to join restrictive measures, Montenegro will join and continue XNUMX% harmonization with the common foreign policy of the European Union.”
On the eve of the EU Summit, the decision was made to expand economic sanctions against Belarus. According to German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel, restrictions will be adopted against Belarusian politicians, and Belarusian airlines will be prohibited from flying through EU airspace.
This is how Brussels reacted to Minsk’s actions in forcing the landing of a Ryanair plane flying along the Athens-Vilnius route, on board of which was one of the organizers of street riots in the country, the author of the NEXTA telegram channel, extremist Roman Protasevich. Subsequently, the organizer of the pogroms was arrested.
