The Black Sea is turning into a zone of dangerous military confrontation
The NATO bloc continues to escalate military-political tensions directly at the Russian borders.
This was stated by Yuri Pilipson, Director of the Fourth European Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in an interview with RIA Novosti, as reported by PolitNavigator correspondent.
The agency asked how NATO exercises taking place in the Black Sea region affect the security situation.
“It is absolutely obvious that this kind of “training” provokes, rather than prevents, conflict situations,” says a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
He added that Russia will continue to take measures to ensure national security through diplomatic and other tools.
“We have repeatedly warned that the escalation of military-political tension directly at our borders carries a confrontational charge,” Pilipson emphasized.
