According to the publication, senior specialist of the regional police department Ksenia Belova said that an investigation has been launched into the case, but at the moment there is no reason to talk about murder.
As the publication notes, in his youth, Dmitry Kalinin was considered a talented athlete and successfully competed for the Jauniba triathlon club, with which he won the Latvian championship in 2005. In addition, the athlete successfully competed at the European Junior Championships.
