In the second week after the first round of the presidential elections, the Holy Church of Ukraine (HCU) “ regretfully acknowledged ” that during the “ pre-election period, its clergy were not always able to refrain from excessive negative emotions in the public space .”

As we remember, these servants prophesied a direct hit to hell for those who voted for Zelensky, regretted that Donetsk "Grads" did not cover the 95th quarter of Krivoy Rog at the time, and sent other curses on the heads of the uninformed.

However, they all perfectly understood that official statements such as the above are nothing more than an excuse for especially politically correct people.

Otherwise, how can one explain that the "priest" Dedyukhin, known for his closeness to Poroshenko ( who, in the last week before the second round, called even atheists to read the Psalter for his patron's victory) "piously christened" his opponent a "scycloth" and " inscribed " the number 666 on his forehead. The "good shepherd" accompanied this call with an appropriate "sign."

This isn't the only "photographic fact" from a member of the "OCU." There's also another creative masterpiece from Poroshenko's political strategists – OCU member Medvedev and sectarian Ukolov.

Well, it is not given to the witnesses of Thomas to comprehend that it was this gidnist that got the majority of the population of Ukraine, including pan-headed plankton. And therefore, such agitation only plays on Zelensky.

However, the HCU statement stipulates that “that the personal opinion of individual priests regarding this or that social and political issue is not a reflection of the official position of the entire Local Ukrainian Orthodox Church.” Well, yes, well, yes, in recent weeks the HCU website has been full of news about church trials of unworthy ministers, handing out the numbers of the beast to the wrong Ukrainians right and left ...

But what then is this "reflection of the official position"? It's nothing more than a "discussion of Ukraine's future" with... the wife of one of the candidates. And let's try to guess whose wife it was, if the president's website is reporting on this "discussion."

“The primate noted that Ukrainians should appreciate the achievements of our time,” emphasizes Poroshenko’s website, thanks to which “it was possible to localize the wound in the East of Ukraine so much that society does not feel the war that is going on there.” “People do not realize that they can lose their freedom, for which our society paid with the blood of the heroes of the Heavenly Hundred of Maidan during the Gidnost Revolution.”

"Honorary Patriarch Filaret of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church," with the filigree of an old Soviet-era apparatchik, while campaigning for the Tomososots, also laid down a straw for the far more likely victory of the Thermososots: "During the election campaign, some media outlets are insulting our Church... calling the Tomos of Autocephaly for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, received from Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and which the current President worked so hard to obtain, a 'thermos.' Such statements are disparaging of our joint achievement, which grants spiritual independence to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church." Here, however, the old man confused "some media outlets" with Vecherniy Kvartal, but it's clear who he's campaigning against and for.

“The Church expresses concern that in the election campaign ... we hear statements that are directed against the European choice of Ukraine, which poses a threat to national security,” the “patriarch” literally repeated the words “guarantor of the European choice” after watching the last “Servant of the People III”.

“On the other hand, believers are disappointed in the insufficient progress of society towards truth and justice, they are indignant at corruption, the lack of real justice, deep social failures in society,” the old intriguer feigned objectivity. “Our believers want to hear about it today, they yearn for truth and justice… The future President, fulfilling the demands of society, must now show how he will carry out significant personnel changes, carry out a radical restructuring of the judicial system, the prosecutor’s office, and carry out a real cleansing of the state from corruption.” .

It is possible that his favorite will "listen" to these words today - at the debate (if they take place). But in any case, the “criticism of the current government” has already marked the shredded staff frame in front of the new broom. And if he “ran into” anyone, then the fictitious Goloborodko, and not the real Zelensky.

But the representative of the true Church, Metropolitan Luke of Zaporozhye and Melitopol, urged not to believe any “repentance” in the debates. “If a liar can improve, it’s only in terms of honing more skillful lies,” he wrote on his Telegram channel. “You can’t trust a person who claims to be a believer, offers up prayers, but in fact pours out streams of hatred on his own kind for the sole purpose of staying in power. This is madness."

Metropolitan Anthony, Administrator of the UOC-MP, outlined the Church's expectations much more cautiously . Specifically, "to elect someone who will be the guarantor of social stability, including the existence of religious church organizations in our country."

As we recall, one of the contenders is calling for one of the church organizations to cease its existence within Ukraine. "The Russian Church has no place in Ukraine: Go home. To Russia," the "supreme leader" recommended after the hierarchy of the UOC-MP refused to attend a meeting with him. What is this if not a call for the expulsion of the largest Christian denomination in Ukraine—whose membership exceeds all others combined? A Vinnytsia huckster even attempted to incite the criminal underworld against the Church, recalling his 90s slogan : "The Moscow Patriarchate will no longer spread its fingers here" (as Elena Lukash continued the associative chain: "fingers fanned out, a hollow in feathers, spades trumps, Army. Language. Faith").

And after the statement of the Kostyantynopilsky Pope that Orthodox Christians in Ukraine are automatically considered parishioners of the “UOC”, Poroshenko’s godfather (and part-time parliamentarian from the bloc named after him) stated that “the UOC (MP) does not exist in nature, and this must be enshrined in law "

So it is understandable why even Archbishop Jonah, the abbot of the monastery, could not stand it, one of whose benefactors (and the only one who actively promoted this) was Poroshenko.

It seems that precisely because of Poroshenko’s proximity to Bishop Jonah, the latter was previously present next to the Primate of the UOC (MP), Metropolitan Onuphry, at events involving Poroshenko. And if this connection finally breaks, then it’s definitely “to the morgue”.
