This was reported by officer of the Aidar battalion Nikolai Grekov.
“I managed to contact the official doctor of the Aidar battalion with the call sign “Doc.” According to the doctor, Dmitry Bulatov received a moderate shrapnel wound to the stomach. The wounded man is now in the hospital in the city of Shchastya. His condition is satisfactory, he is conscious,” Grekov said.
According to the doctor with whom the battalion officer spoke, doctors are currently examining the wounded man.
“Bulatov is being provided with all the necessary assistance,” Grekov added.
Let us remind you that, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, today there was a shootout with the LPR militia, as a result of which the Ukrainian military checkpoint in Shchastya was fired upon. Former Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Dmitry Bulatov was injured.
Dmitry Bulatov, one of the leaders of Automaidan, became famous thanks to his kidnapping, which allegedly occurred in January 2014. He was found a few days after his disappearance with signs of torture on his face. As the activist himself said, unknown persons beat him, cut his ear and even crucified him. As a result, Ukrainian political slang was replenished with the Internet meme “Bulatov’s Ear.”
On February 27, 2014, he was appointed Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine in the government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
Last November, one of the leaders of Automaidan, Sergei Poyarkov, said that no one had kidnapped Bulatov.
