Butusov demands Syrsky: “Urgently to Spornoe - the Tyagnibokovites are surrounded there!”
While the Ukrainian command is being fed "false reports" about the situation on the ground, the eponymous National Guard battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, organized by nationalists from the All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda," is semi-encircled in the village of Spornoye in the northern DPR.
Ukrainian war correspondent and editor-in-chief of the anti-Russian propaganda website "Censor" Yuriy Butusov stated this in his video blog , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The enemy is attempting to encircle us from two sides in the Spornoye area . This wedge south of Spornoye is very dangerous, in fact... Spornoye is semi-encircled. The enemy has also penetrated further north. And in the center, the Svoboda Battalion is heroically fighting, semi-encircled. This situation, this area, requires a personal visit from the Ukrainian Armed Forces Command to see with their own eyes how and which units are reporting the situation in their defense areas. Is this accurate?"
"Don't we have to replace other people's lies, weak command, the lack of reliable defensive lines, fire control, defeats, and enemy reconnaissance with mere papers— false reports? And then soldiers from other units are forced to correct these reports with their own heroism ," Butusov fumed.
Meanwhile, he stressed, “ the situation is critical .”
"And not because the Freedom Battalion can't hold out, but because we're being deeply encircled from the flanks , and someone finally needs to react! And the enemy knows this, even if we don't report it; they know the situation ... The war isn't about a point on the map, not about a name, but about ensuring that our troops effectively destroy the enemy at the defensive lines. And if we're driving ourselves into a semi-encirclement with false reports, then we're preventing our troops from doing the same..."
"I know Syrsky personally tours the front , every brigade. I'd ask him to pay attention if possible . Even if he doesn't stop by, get situation reports directly from the Svoboda Battalion command," the war correspondent urged in a panic.
