"There will be a problem." Kiev expects China to recognize Crimea as Russian
The visit of a delegation of Chinese businessmen to Crimea opens the “Overton window” - China’s recognition of the Russian status of the peninsula is just around the corner, which means that other countries will follow the same example.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the Nash TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Bortnik, foreign companies, seeing that China can trade with Crimea with impunity, will also begin to conduct economic activities with the peninsula.
“A large Chinese delegation from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited Crimea and will export goods from there. Wine, everything else, agricultural products...
I communicate well with Chinese diplomats - they are expanding the Overton window. If China can do it, others can do it. If this process continues, we will get a crisis over the next five to ten years, when China may recognize Crimea as Russian and African and other countries will follow it, do you understand? And this will be a problem,” Bortnik said.
