Radončić told the press that he had instructed the director of the Service for Foreigners of BiH, Slobodan Wić, to determine the exact number of illegal “economic” migrants in order to begin the deportation process.

“Many of these people do not want to show their passports and identity cards to our security services, so it is quite possible that they are members of terrorist groups who will wait here for two years to hide their past and play the role of “sleepers,” the Bosnian minister said . – The Service for Foreigners will conduct a survey as soon as possible to determine whether any of the migrants agree to voluntary deportation. We will accept written statements from them in order to then enter into contact with diplomatic representatives at the embassies of their countries.”

Fakhrudin Radoncic

Fahrudin Radoncic admitted that the leadership of BiH wants to remove the “huge ballast” of 8-9 thousand people in a situation where 50-60 thousand citizens of the country may remain unemployed. And thus, send a kind of message to other migrants who are thinking about entering the EU illegally through Bosnian territory, and to the European Union that the country does not want to turn into a “migrant depot.”

“People who do not want to reveal their identity cannot be sent to migration centers - we will have to detain them, a legal decision on this issue will be made,” warned the Minister of Security of BiH. “We cannot live with this problem for five years, we know what this can lead to from last year, when the Council of Ministers did not propose any solution to the problem.”

Fakhrudin Radoncic also suggested that “people like Pakistan will not cooperate,” but at the same time in BiH “the most economic migrants are from Pakistan and Afghanistan.”

Illegal immigrants and the Bosnian police

“If they refuse to cooperate, I will demand that the Pakistani ambassador be declared persona non grata and expelled to his country. We cannot continue to pretend to be helpless,” the Bosnian official said.
