This was stated on the air of the Alpha video blog by Oleksiy Arestovich, a former adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office and one who has been added to Russia's list of extremists and terrorists, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“There are subjective reasons, which consist in the fact that we have always had very bad preparations. This received the least attention, it was always formulaic, carried out according to the same principles, very stupid, straightforward, and so on. And now, when 300 thousand or 500 need to be called up, I can say right away that the overwhelming majority will leave for the front without any preparation at all. He fired nine rounds and threw a grenade - this is the best case scenario. For each soldier to throw a grenade - and this is a basic element of training, the most basic, individual training - 500 thousand grenades are needed. Imagine, this is technically impossible, where can you find so many grenades, it’s easy to study. Therefore, there are not enough resources, let’s not rub our glasses in and tell how our training period has increased, according to the law on mobilization, and how they will be well prepared and heroically go to war - this will not happen. Most of them will end up in the trenches knowing nothing at all, and will learn on the spot,” Arestovich said.
