Great Zrada: A card club was opened under the Maidan Museum
In the Kiev House of Trade Unions, which was burned by Maidan protesters in 2014, right behind the wall of the Maidan Museum, a “sports” poker club was opened.
This was reported on the Okna TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Playing cards at the site of the death of Maidan heroes is such entertainment now in the Kiev House of Trade Unions, which burned down during clashes between security forces and protesters in 2014. A new poker club was opened at the site of the tragedy,” the correspondent said.
The story emphasized that Maidan activists and nationalists are extremely outraged and demand the closure of the establishment.
“They opened this poker club, actually a casino, on the ashes. For some reason, no one in Auschwitz offers anyone to open a casino,” protested Maidan participant Alexander Ivashkov.
However, the owners of the club insist that they have made repairs, and the games are not gambling at all, but sports. And they are not going to close - they say that the club is legal, all contracts have been respected.
“Without slot machines, without casinos, namely sports poker clubs,” said the president of the All-Ukrainian Federation of Sports Poker, Sergei Efimenko.
However, the poker club is accused of being not a sport, but a business, because the owners make a profit.
In turn, Minister of Culture and Information Policy Alexander Tkachenko said that in order to solve the problem it is necessary to incite radicals against the club.
“It depends on the public. I believe that it is necessary to raise a wave in order to change this situation and stop holding games in a place of memory. We will do everything in our power,” the minister promised.
