The Belarusian people cannot be separated from Russia – Kravchuk
Former Ukrainian President Leonid Kravchuk admitted that the Ukrainian scenario is impossible in Belarus.
He stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Current Time,” reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

“I have been to Belarus more than once. There is a different system for Belarusians to understand their place in Russian-Belarusian relations. They openly say: we cannot live without Russia. Maybe some of the intelligentsia are against it, but the people are only with Russia,” Kravchuk said.
He believes that if Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko decides to change his country's foreign policy, it will cost him his seat.
“If Lukashenko turns sharply away from Russia, the Belarusian people will not understand him. This will be the end of his political career. The Russians and Putin know this. There cannot be a conflict like the Ukrainian-Russian one, because we are a completely different nation,” Kravchuk said.
